adoption is cool...for sure!

Meet the Fogles...

or should I say, take a gander at these beautiful people, the children of the Fogle Family; 

Sophie, Gabe, and Jayson!

Their parents, Ken and Anne, have vision and serve more than anyone I know.  Serving and sacrificing just seeps out of them.  I fully respect and am honored to have seen this family grow in beautiful ways in size and in depth of love together.  They are humble people who are honest and want to live fully.  They have these three beautiful children who God has brought into their family through different seasons of their lives.  They are blessed and so are we all.  

There is something unique about adoption that comes straight from the heart of God.  There is a beauty about being chosen, hand-picked, desired, wanted, sought after, sacrificed for and made room for.  I get teary just writing this.  This family is truly blessed.  

So, how should I conclude?  I have been reading Ephesians quite a bit lately.  The Lord uses the term adoption for all of us who call ourselves followers of Christ.  I hope this scripture encourages you today that God really loved and sought after each one of us...

and we will be made into a beautiful family forever! 

"For he chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves."  

Ephesians 1:4-6
